iPhone prototype “left on a bar floor”
According to this article at the Sydney Morning Herald website, a much-anticipated fourth generation iPhone was found on the floor of a bar in San Jose.
An iPhone prototype is meant to have been found on the floor of a San Jose bar earlier this week disguised in an iPhone 3G case, and images were published in this article on Engadget.
The gadget found featured a high-resolution screen, up to 80GB of storage and a front-facing camera. Technocrat, John Gruber said on his blog that he is convinced that the glass-like enclosure proves the authenticity of the gadget.
CNET on the other hand are convinced the image is of a counterfeit Japanese phone, and that Engadget are making it all up.
What does it all mean? Well, people are itching for a glimpse at the next generation of iPhone, expected to be released at the end of June.
